Constructed with a premium-quality magnesium alloy body and paired with a carbon fiber handle, the Flight Feather Cormorant Power BFS Reel is remarkably lightweight. Weighing in at only 4.4oz, Flight Feather earns the title of the world’s lightest casting reel. Featuring a fine-grained crystalline structure, the magnesium body is also incredibly strong and is finished with a 4X anti-corrosion surface treatment for added durability and longevity. The Flight Feather Cormorant Power BFS reel also features an all-new and improved ARMORED main gear for incredible smoothness and up to 5x strength.
Featuring one of the lightest stock spool weights of any BFS reel available, the Flight Feather is designed for extreme ultra-light fishing performance. The ultra-thin-walled aerospace-grade aluminum alloy spool is paired with a titanium alloy short shaft and two high-speed stainless steel bearings, allowing anglers to cast as low as 1/50oz (0.55g) when paired with a suitable rod and line. Stable and consistent performance is achieved through a newly upgraded externally adjustable magnetic braking system that allows anglers to dial in the reel for precise control and maximum casting distances.
On the inside, Flight Feather is packed with high-quality components that ensure polished and reliable performance. Equipped with 11+1 ball bearings and CNC machined gears, the Flight Featger BFS Reel offers an amazingly smooth retrieve and is built to last.
