Shimano Curado BFS Reel

Inspired by Shimano’s JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) BFS lineup, the Curado BFS utilizes an ultralightweight shallow spool designed for thinner diameter lines to allow anglers to cast lightweight lures that were previously only possible with finesse spinning tackle. Utilizing Shimano’s legendary FTB braking system, which was designed specifically for BFS fishing, the brake mechanism is moved off the spool, which significantly reduces spool weight and allows the spool to spin with minimal force. Unlike traditional magnetic braking systems, Shimano’s FTB braking offers dynamic control over the spool speed, applying brake pressure only when needed. The Curado BFS reel features a fully adjustable external dial, and fine-tuning the brake and spool is both efficient and easy. Equipped with Shimano’s Exciting Drag Sound technology, an audible clicking is emitted when your catch is pulling the line, adding to the thrill of the fight.
