The Jackson Tiny Squid is designed as a downsized bait for the backslide technique, a perfect baby squid imitation for saltwater fishing. The body profile of the Tiny Squid has been designed with a pocket to hold a nail sinker, and its body shape prevents rolling, even when backsliding. A 1.3g tungsten nail sinker is suggested for deeper water, and a 0.9g nail sinker is recommended for shallow water. A fluorocarbon line is recommended to assist in backsliding with proper action. Cast the Tiny Squid to your intended target area and let it backslide, then slowly retrieve, allowing the Tiny Squid to float upwards, then pause, causing the Squid to backslide again. This technique imitates a real Squid; its lifelike action is irresistible to predators.
