The Nikko Tadpole is a bait of passion. It’s a fantastic finesse bait with phenomenal tail action.

Super stretchy, super soft, and long-lasting; you’ll go through a lot of fish before this bait gives out.

Like all Nikko baits, it’s completely free of plastisol, environmental hormones, and other toxins.

We love throwing this bait for bass and large panfish on dropshot and split shot rigs. The Zaza Tadpole floats, keeping the bait constantly in action and in the line of sight of your catch. They also work great paired with small jig heads and popped or swam off the bottom in shallow waters. The Obsidian color provides a unique profile in stained or muddy waters, while the more natural Fusion will get the job done in clear water or highly pressured fishing situations.

Note: New tadpoles have a powder coating to make handling easier. The powder will come off in use, and the color will become more vivid. After opening, properly store tadpoles flat inside their packs to maintain shape.

Awesome lure for spring time. Prespawn bass destroy this thing when they get spooked by others. I put it on a small tungsten head and it sinks very slowly with the tail swaying ever so gently so lure them in. I am not usually a believer that ONE lure can make that big of a difference but, the Zaza Tadpole saved me from getting skunked.

Mid december MD,USA. First “warm” day in a minute 53 degrees. Hit the pond for a few hrs not expecting to catch much. 40 minutes of spinners decided to switch tactics. 3.5 gram bullet weight. Plastic bead. #2 gamakatsu g lock hook which has this zaza tadpole texposed. 3rd cast let it lay on the bottom near some wood. Suddenly……….
    4 pound large mouth!!!!
Also caught a 1.5 lb and missed a 2.5 lb because I set the hook to early. 3 hrs winter fishing. Good day.
