The Jackall Pikupiku 65 is a downsized version released only to the Japanese market. Pikupiku is a genuinely unique lure with its curved lipless jerkbait-like body and unique two-eyelet configuration. When tied off to the front eyelet, this lure can be worked in a jerking motion, causing an extra erratic response each time it moves. However, the top eyelet sets the Pikupiku 65 apart from other lures. When tied off to the top eyelet, the Pikupiku acts as a twitchbait by imitating a dying baitfish. With just light movements of the rod tip, the Piku Piku will twitch sideways on the surface, creating tiny ripples like a minnow in its final moments. This unique action helps draw in weary fish and is effective even in the most pressured waters. Finished with realistic 3D eyes, gill plates, and scaling, Pikupiku 65 is a highly realistic presentation. Like all Jackall lures, the Pikupiku is designed to be easy to use and fun to fish.

I took this bait out to my local pond and fished from the bank so it may not have been the best use, but it was a fun trip when I used it. I found a few bluegill beds and started throwing this around them and the fish would boil at the bait. When a fish got hooked up it ended up being a unique way to catch bluegill. I know this is primarily a bass bait but I think the premise is the same. I was fishing it on a Tsurinoya partner series travel rod with a Kastking zephyr reel. Once I had the reel settings adjusted the lure casted fine.
