Bait Finesse Empire Jika Rig

The Jika Rig combines a free rig style weight with an EWG hook to make a compact and effective bass fishing rig. This new technique has been growing in popularity, and Bait Finesse Empire is proud to offer these downsized versions that are perfect for BFS fishing.

The EWG hook is connected to the weight via a split ring allowing your bait to freely move and flutter as it is worked on the bottom. This little rig is excellent for working through rocks, light grass, or on beds. It can be worked slowly in much the same way as a dropshot rig when fishing pressured fish or sped up to trigger more aggressive bites with a simple dragging motion.
Pair the Jika Rig with your favorite finesse creature bait, Ned style bait, or finesse worm to offer your fish a more natural presentation than a standard Ned or Texas rig.
