Jackall Need Cicada employs a hybrid body design paired with natural feather wings to give the fish a finesse topwater presentation with a realistic silhouette that can’t be ignored. Constructed around a hard inner core that is weighted for increased casting distance and flight stability, Need Cicada allows anglers to put this insect lure in front of the fish without having to make their presence known to them. The inner core is covered with an ultra-durable elastomer material that offers high buoyancy and a softer landing that avoids spooking fish. With two hand-tied feathers as wings, Need Cicada provides a natural presentation on the water as each wing has some freedom of movement. This allows the silhouette to constantly change, fooling the fish with its lifelike presence.

With a built-in eyelet on the hard inner core, rigging Need Cicada is as simple as inserting your favorite wacky or mosquito hook into the eyelet for a secure hold. For increased casting distance, the use of a thin braided line (#0.6) and a light power 6’6″-7’0″ rod is recommended. Need Cicada comes packaged in a blister pack, allowing anglers to reuse it to store these elastomer baits away from other soft plastics.
