Have the 6’3” version and love it. Light, feels great in hand and is sensitive enough to feel my bait hit grass or the vibration from micro spoons.

I can’t figure out to edit my original review so I will post a new one. The first thing I want to say is that Bait Finesse Empire has treated me well! My purchase experience was great, and any communication has been great. With that being said, the Kuying Teton rod is in my experience not worth the price tag. I previously stated in my first review that the rod guides were off-center. Yesterday while fishing I needed to pull some line out to re-tie a lure. My drag is set loose so the line comes out easily. I pulled on the end of my line creating a moderate bend in the rod (way less load than a fish puts on the rod) and the rod snapped about 15″ from the tip. When I consider the misaligned rod guides, the dead feeling/lack of sensitivity, and now the rod breaking under normal use I wouldn’t recommend this rod. Again I should have saved a little longer and got a higher-quality rod. I want to state again that I do not blame Bait Finesse Empire in any way. I’ll start saving money and buy a new rod from this website in a couple of months.

I got this as my first BFS rod and I can’t really complain. I like it, casts good and has landed a few trout. Solid for a starter rod.

I fish 0.6 Goh and 4# mono. I bought this stick because I like to be on the min to lower rating of a rod. Just landed a 4.5# large mouth and pulled her through the grass with no problem. It can cast down to 2 – 2.5g (total weight) with ease. It has enough backbone and a fast enough tip that it bends nice through the ferrel to be confident with this stick. Great budget BFS rod and worth the purchase!
I have a hand full of 1pc BFS rods and this one seems to be my go to! For a multi piece rod you can not go wrong!

I have all the kuying Teton rods. My favorite is the 5’2” SUL. I have caught a 4.63lb bass and a 10lb catfish with this rod and net. Definitely worth the money. Caught lots of fish on it. My next favorite is the 6ft UL Teton, these rods fit me the best. That SUL is tough, but use a net don’t bank flip the big ones.
