The boot-shaped paddle tail gives off a tremendous action that draws in fish from afar. Highly versatile, Donkey Tail Jr. can be used as a standup Ned bait, a dropshot bait, or on a Texas rig or split shot rig. For a more finesse presentation, cut the nose portion of the bait for a shorter profile that can coax bites from otherwise tight-lipped fish.

My single favorite bait for pond hopping and ultralight or BFS fishing. It’s durable and the size is perfect. The tail is sort of a wedge shape which allows it to move way better and it has a very subtle action. Personally I’d say get this in pasture fire and go have fun.

Panfish love these, especially with the Mule jigheads. Paddle tail will break off, but the bait will still work. Good balance between bouyant, stretchy material, and durability.
