One of Tsurinoya’s most popular bait finesse rods, the Proflex II is ideally suited for a wide range of finesse fishing applications.

Built with a Japanese Toray 30T carbon blank and a responsive solid carbon tip, this rod is highly sensitive and lightweight, making it great for feeling those subtle bites when finesse fishing bottom contact baits. Featuring Fuji K series Alconite Guides, a Fuji ACS reel seat, and a premium 3A full cork handle design, the Proflex II offers incredible value at an impressive price point.

Whether fishing for bass or panfish, the Tsurinoya Proflex II is a crowd favorite among bait finesse anglers for handling light lures while still offering the power to fight big fish.

While originally being scared of the ultra sensitive tip moving to an very stiff back bone I found that this rod is an absolute killer on the water. Sensitive tip to really feel and see the bite and a strong backbone for hook sets and fighting those bigget fish. I’ve mainly used this rod to skip under docks for crappie it handles them with class.

I bought this rod years ago from a different website And I loved it. It will throw the lightest of lures with a bfs reel and I wouldn’t worry about breaking it. I caught a small 22” Muskie on an ultra light jerkbait and I had no problem getting her to the boat with this rod. However, this rod will not survive if you step on it which is why I’m here to find a new one. I don’t think Tsurinoya makes this rod anymore as I can’t find one on aliexpress and I think they moved on to the proflex 3 edition. I’m thinking about buying two before they’re gone.
