Shimano Cardiff Native Special Series Casting Rod

The JDM Shimano Cardiff Native Special rod series embodies the optimal balance of length, tone, joint shape, and action to deliver anglers premium spec rods to take on trout in headwaters, streams, lakes, rivers, and more. Newly designed blanks use Shimano’s Spiral X and High Power X technology to deliver the right amount of strength and durability while limiting the blank twist that causes power loss. Highly responsive SOFT TUBE  tip sections are utilized to enhance the responsiveness of the rod blank while allowing for the extra flexibility needed to fish PE (braided) lines effectively. Shimano’s proprietary Active Ferrule technology is used, taking the standard spigot ferrule design to new levels of sensitivity and lively action, creating a blank that responds just as a one-piece blank would. Premium cork is utilized for the handle design, providing a firm grip, soft feel, and a classic look. A custom CI4+ reel seat is used, providing a comfortable hold that maintains a lightweight and sensitive build, allowing for direct blank contact to feel every bite and bump.
