The OSP HP Bug is a 1.5″ versatile insect imitation finesse soft bait that allows anglers to put a downsized presentation into tight spots where bass love to hold when conditions are tough. With its compact body profile and micro appendages, HP Bug puts out just the right amount of action during a slackline fall with its free-moving legs and steady downward glide. Salted only in the bottom half of the bait, HP Bug is built to fall belly down, keeping the correct orientation for better hooksets and snag avoidance. The dense body profile also allows for excellent casting characteristics with improved distances achieved as well as a stable posture in the water.

HP Bug is highly effective when rigged weightless with an offset hook or mosquito hook, or add a small nail sinker for a micro Neko Rig presentation that can be used for pinpoint targeting of key ambush areas. Adding a small nail sinker and an offset hook to create a micro Neko rig gives HP Bug a faster sink rate and also allows it to be cast over tree limbs and other overhangs so that it can be dangled and used to create ripples on the surface of the water.
