I’ve fished with quite a few different BFS rods since I started BFS’n several years ago and some cost 3 to 4x what this rod cost. Let me tell ya this rod is awsome its very balanced and feels good to hold all day while I’m out fishing. The paratek carbon blend which is not a glass blend…I asked the good folks at Jenko…bends beautifully and is very forgiving and also can flick a tiny jig or lure as far as I ever have with any other rod. There’s only a couple rods that can cast tiny stuff that far and this one’s right there. The sensitivity is excellent don’t let the moderate action fool ya its all in the spirit of the blank and I can feel ice cold trout the moment they barely mouth my jig…I’ve watched it in crystal clear mountain lakes. I can’t say enough this rod is great and Jenko knocked it out the park on this one…it looks great dont cost a whole lot and my favorite thing is I feel the slightest of bites, hook the fish and get the fish in rare ly loosing a fish. Thanks Jenko for one of the best BFS rods I’ve ever had
