Named after the traditional Japanese bamboo fixed line pole, Nobezao, the Huerco NB series is a modern take on the simplest form of angling, without any need for a reel or guide rings. Crafted from a blend of premium carbon graphite for sensitivity and fiberglass fibers for durability, the NB series features a supple tip section and a deep bending but powerful body that offers a balance of control and stickiness. Featuring a telescopic design, the NB series collapses to an ultra compact size, making it the perfect simple travel rod to take when hiking, camping, or even if just headed out for an evening stroll. Available in a range of sizes with powers suitable for a wide range of tactics from true Oikawa micro fishing, to Keiryu (Japanese fixed line stream fishing with insect and other micro baits), Tenkara (Japanese fixed line fly-fishing), and many other fixed line techniques. Each rod includes a sleeve and tip protector for safe storage, as well as a pre-installed lillian for easy line attachment.
