The Dragon series by Tsurinoya is an affordable entry into bait finesse fishing that punches well above its price point. These rods feature a durable, sensitive, lightweight blank with Tsurinoya’s SIC guides. The 2A cork full grip handle and the Tsurinoya reel seat are comfortable and make for a rod that fits well in hand. Available in different lengths and actions, the Tsurinoya Dragon series is ideally suited for a wide range of finesse fishing applications.

  • 6′ Ultra Light – QLC-602UL
This rod is designed for ultralight lure fishing and works well for trout, sunfish, crappie, perch, and other light game fish. The moderate-fast action on the ultralight blank allows for easy loading and casting of lightweight lures while still offering control when a bigger fish gets on.

  • 6’6″ Light – QLC-662L | 7′ Light – QLC-702L
These light power rods work well for sunfish, crappie, and bass fishing in rivers, lakes, and ponds. The wide casting range of the light power Tsurinoya Dragon rod and the moderate-fast action make them suitable for fishing a wide range of lure types with easy loading of the rod from 2g and up. From Texas rigs to jigs and even hard-bodied lures, the Dragon light rod is an incredible value for the multi-species angler stepping into bait finesse fishing on a budget.

Love this rod. The 662L is soft enough to make panfishing fun. The backbone is strong enough to horse 1.5 lb bass away from cover.

I got one C702L from a fan and it was so good, I got a 2nd in case I ever need to have a spare! It’s also the rod I introduce to ALL my guests as it’s a great all rounder rod. I use it primarily for crappie fishing, throwing 1/16th oz jigs plus a 2 inch plastic. that ranges between 2.5 grams to 2.9 grams depending on plastic brand/thickness. I also use it for treble hook lures like small cranks and lipless cranks and even topwater pencil baits!

At the price point, how it performs and it’s quality, it’s a win!

It’s my best rod in it’s class at this time!

    Excellent value.

I just had my 7′ Light out for a trip. Throwing between 1/10 and 1/4 ounce lures. Very nice rod. Loads up really well, and is forgiving if you whip it. It will really sling a 1/4oz if you want to. Enough to nearly spool out a BFS reel. Guides were all in line and at the correct angle, and the tip is straight. The grip is a nice size and the cork feels good in the hand and is smooth. My only small criticism is there’s no bait keeper, but they’re easy enough to add.
