These Roro Ceramic Hybrid Micro Bearings are a significant upgrade over the stock bearings in the Kestrel Elite BFS Reel. By swapping to micro bearings, spool startup speed is greatly increased, resulting in more effortless casting, longer casting distance, and the ability to more easily cast lightweight lures. Swap the factory bearings out today to get optimal performance from the Kastking Kestrel Elite BFS Reel.
To install spool shaft bearing:
Remove the spool from the reel
Remove the pin from the spool shaft using a bearing pin removal tool.
Remove the stock bearing from the spool shaft, and slide the Roro Sic 834BFS FT bearing onto the spool shaft with the O-ring facing away from the spool body.
Re-insert the bearing pin into the spool shaft, making sure to center the pin in the spool shaft.
To Install palm plate bearing:
Remove the palm plate from the reel
Carefully remove the bearing clip from the center of the plan plate/braking mechanism. This can be easily done with the Roro handle knob cap removal tool.
Remove the stock 733 bearings. This can be done with the Roro bearing puller tool.
Insert the new Roro SiC 733BFS bearing into place
Re-attach bearing clip
Re-assemble reel.
